Sandy Ungar

VP Client Relations & Marketing at RootFunding

Sandy Ungar has worked in the technology and marketing fields since 1996. Sandy began their career as a Computer Teacher at the NYC Department of Education, where they taught students basic computer concepts and Mac-based applications. In 2001, they became the Middle School Technology Coordinator at Moriah School of Englewood, where they trained staff on the use of new applications and smart boards. In 2009, they joined Root Funding as the VP of Client Relations & Marketing, where they developed, maintained and extended client relationships to provide ongoing support, documentation and training on Root Funding's digital fundraising platform. Sandy also acted as an online fundraising and development advisor for nonprofits and causes, as well as a PR and Social Media Marketing Manager.

Sandy Ungar obtained a Master of Science in Education from Queens College, with a major in Elementary Education and a specialization in "New Technologies in Education".
