Gary Ungar is an accomplished executive with significant experience in technology and leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Root Funding since June 2007, Gary has spearheaded initiatives that empower non-profit organizations to expand their outreach and enhance fundraising capabilities. Prior to this role, Gary held key positions at The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America—including Director of Information Technology—and served as Assistant Vice President of Technology at Park Avenue Securities. Gary began a career at The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, taking on various technology-focused responsibilities, including Manager of Systems Integration and Project Lead for Field Technology Planning.
