Chad Schneider is the current president at Root3 Labs Inc. Prior to that, they worked as a senior engineer at Key Technologies, Inc. from May 2004 to February 2012. Key Tech is an ISO13485-certified engineering services and product development firm specializing in the design of electro-mechanical devices in the medical, commercial, and industrial industries. As a project manager and/or senior engineer, Chad worked on the development of numerous products, including a prototype device to induce therapeutic hypothermia, a microfluidic lab-on-a-chip DNA analyzer, and a precision drug injection control unit. Chad was also responsible for the development of a robotic arm for breast cancer therapy and a 2-DOF prototype medical robot for transcavital needle insertion. Chad's work generally includes prototype design and fabrication, development of complex components for production from various processes, development of 3D models and fabrication drawings, and design for manufacturing. Chad is skilled in problem solving, mechanical and mathematical analyses, and system integration.
Chad Schneider has a MS in Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, a BSME from the University of Maryland, and is certified from the Federal Aviation Administration, State of Maryland, and SOLIDWORKS.
