Sergey Kobzar is an experienced engineering leader currently at Rooser since September 2022, following a tenure as Software Development Manager at Amazon from June 2020 to August 2022, where Sergey led two Alexa-wide programs. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Engineering at Topia from February 2014 to May 2020, significantly expanding the European engineering team and standardizing recruitment processes. Sergey has also held roles as Technical Lead at Topia and Project Analyst at ION Trading, contributing to enterprise risk management solutions and application integrations. Early career includes positions at OpenBet Ltd, where Sergey progressed from Software Developer to Senior Software Developer, and a role at Damovo UK Ltd. Sergey holds a Master of Science in Internet Software Systems and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science/Software Engineering from the University of Birmingham, along with a Master of Arts in TV and Media Management from Krasnodar State University of Culture and Arts.
