Tonya Frye, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Roof Above, a position held since February 2022. Prior to this role, Tonya Frye was the Controller at Lutheran Services Carolinas from January 2019 to February 2022, where responsibilities included managing accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger oversight. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Finance for Gaston County, managing a $300 million budget, and as Finance Director at Centralina Council of Governments, overseeing a $22 million budget. Tonya Frye began a career at Johnson C. Smith University as Assistant Comptroller and worked at KPMG as a Supervising Senior Accountant, leading financial audits for various entities. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Business Administration from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Tech.
