Melinda Hossie has extensive experience in human services and community support. Currently serving as a Human Services Specialist at the County of San Diego since October 2012, Melinda provides exceptional customer service while determining eligibility for various public assistance programs. Additionally, Melinda has been an Administrative Volunteer with Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego since February 2011, where the focus is on delivering compassionate support to families during medical challenges and assisting with fundraising efforts. Prior volunteer experience includes working with San Diego Youth Services, where Melinda created and maintained a tracking system and supported at-risk youth programs. Melinda also served as a Psychology Aide for the Department of Veterans Affairs from August 2006 to November 2010. Melinda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA, obtained in 2006.
