Maria Skogly is an experienced professional in the fields of family therapy and special education. Currently serving as the owner and course facilitator at Familieterapeut og spesialpedagog Maria Skogly since June 2019, Maria provides guidance and therapy for schools, kindergartens, and other relevant institutions. As a columnist for Romerikes Blad since October 2021 and a family therapist at Østbytunet senter for behandling og fagutvikling since September 2009, Maria has extensive expertise in child and adolescent mental health. Previous roles include adjudicator at Fylkesnemda for barnevern og sosiale saker in Oslo and Akershus and family therapist at Interkommunalt ressursteam. Maria has also contributed as the leader and board member of Østlandsk lærerstevne and served as the director of Strømmen Barnehage. Maria’s educational qualifications include further training in mental health during pregnancy and postpartum, as well as degrees in family therapy and preschool education.
