Matt Stover began their work experience in 2006 as a Network Administrator at Logical Systems, Inc., where they worked until 2014. In 2004, they started their own business called MSSRACING, where they served as the Owner, Driver, and Builder of a Sport Compact Drag Racing Team. Matt also provided Honda race engine build services and race car design. Matt Stover then joined Rome City Schools in 2014 as a Network Engineer. Matt later became the Director of Technology and Network Services in February 2017.

Matt Stover attended Armuchee High School from 1998 to 2002. Matt then pursued a degree in Micro Computers and Networking from Georgia Northwestern Technical College and graduated in 2006.
