Andrew Raider Wood is the Founder and Principal of Wood Media Law PLLC, established in January 2008, specializing in entertainment law for independent film and video producers as well as select creative professionals in the arts. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Editor at Marsilio editori s.p.a., where advisory, editorial, and production responsibilities were managed, as well as contracts and rights negotiations. Previously, Andrew held the position of Marketing Director at Penguin Random House, developing marketing strategies and auditing author advances. Additionally, Andrew was a Doctoral Teaching Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh, teaching various literature and cinema studies courses. Academic credentials include a J.D. from Cardozo School of Law, a Certificate in Comparative Media Law from the University of Oxford, a PhD in Cultural Studies from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA from McGill University, and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, along with ongoing studies at the University of Vienna.
