Mirela Birta has a varied work experience, beginning with a role as a Secretary at Legacy Woodwork, INC in 2002. In 2005, they became an Assistant Manager at Golan's Moving & Storage, Inc. In 2006, they took on the role of Medical Biller/Manager at EURO AMERICAN MED SC. From 2001 to 2018, they were a Personal Assistant at B AND C PARTNERS. In 2018, they founded and became President of Spera Foundation. Most recently, in 2019, they became a Math Teacher/Co-Founder at Romanian United Fund and an Intern/Volunteer at Northwestern University, Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center, Balyasnikova Laboratory.

Mirela Birta attended AMS Medical Billing School from 2004-2005. Mirela then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Tourism Management from 1997-2001.
