Troy Thompson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry, currently serving as Senior Sales Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites in Des Moines Northwest since August 1998. Additionally, Troy has been an Ordained Permanent Deacon for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Des Moines since August 2006, serving at Our Lady of the Americas Catholic Church. Prior to these roles, Troy held the position of Director of Sales at Knapp Properties and was the Catering Director at Iowa State University's Memorial Union. Troy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Iowa and has completed formation for the Des Moines Diaconate.
