David Spotanski is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operational leadership within the religious sector. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington since March 2022, Spotanski previously held similar roles as Chief Operating Officer for the Archdiocese of Atlanta and as Executive Director of Stewardship. Prior experience includes positions such as Director of Mission and Customer Services at St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Chancellor of Administration and Pastoral Services for the Diocese of Belleville. Spotanski's career began at the Archdiocese of St. Louis, where significant roles included Director of the Secretariat for Administration and Director of the Archdiocesan Council of the Laity. Educationally, Spotanski holds a Bachelor of Science in Technical Journalism from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and an Associate of Arts in Pre-Engineering from Rend Lake College.
