Mr. Acquaviva served in the United States Marine Corps with the Security Forces Battalion. He subsequently worked as a Field Crew Chief for the New York City Marshal Scofflaw Program and also worked as a Patrol Security Officer for New York University Campus Protection Department. He has completed training with the New York City Police Department Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Investigation Program.

Mr. Acquaviva has since spent over 15 years as a field investigator, conducting surveillance and covert investigation operations. He is skilled in the use of various surveillance and undercover electronic devices. Since 2012, he has worked as a Surveillance Supervisor, overseeing surveillance training of incoming personnel.
