Susan Diepstraten serves as a Senior Investment Manager at ROM Utrecht Region, focusing on early-stage and seed capital investments in Smart Sustainability, Life Science & Health, and the New Digital Society. With extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital, Susan has held various interim and advisory roles in the renewable energy sector, including positions at SuSolutions, Allego, and Alliander. Notable achievements include managing portfolios of innovative start-ups and leading significant investment projects in renewable energy. Susan holds advanced degrees in Business Economics and Financial Management from Tilburg University and North Carolina State University, and recently completed the ScaleUpBoard Program.
