Carole Thomas is a seasoned professional in the field of manufacturing and digital design engineering, currently serving as the Chief of Digital Design Engineering at Rolls-Royce since June 2006. Throughout their tenure at Rolls-Royce, Carole has held various key positions, including Chief of Manufacturing Functional Capability, Chief Manufacturing Engineer for TXWB, Producibility Technical Programme Manager, High Performance Shaft Manufacture Manager, and Manufacturing Systems Manager. Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Carole worked as an Associate Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham from January 2001 to June 2006. Carole earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
