Steve Catlin has a diverse work experience in engineering and project management roles. Steve is currently working as the Engineering IT Delivery Lead at Rolls-Royce SMR since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Rolls-Royce from 2013 to 2022, holding various positions including Portfolio Manager, Programme Manager - Product Development Systems, and Project Manager - Ancillary Support Equipment. Before their time at Rolls-Royce, Catlin served in the British Army from 2004 to 2012, where they held roles such as Head of Function - Design Consultancy Bulk Petroleum, Operations and Training Manager - Design Consultancy Bulk Petroleum, New Product Introduction Project Manager, and Human Resource Manager and Mechanical Engineer.

Steve Catlin has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Derby, which they obtained in 2017. Steve also holds a Chartered Member certification from the Chartered Management Institute, earned in 2015. In addition, Steve attended the Royal School of Military Engineering in 1992-1993, where they studied Mechanical Engineering. Steve completed their secondary education at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Ashbourne from 1985-1990. Steve has also obtained various additional certifications, such as becoming an Agile Coach through LinkedIn, SAFe 4 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc., and Professional Scrum Masterā„¢ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org, among others.
