Prateek Tandon currently serves as the Vice President of Software Engineering at Roku Inc., a position held since January 2017, overseeing the UI, Applications, SDK, and Mobile engineering groups, and responsible for Roku OS's user-facing applications. Prior experience includes leadership roles at PlayStation, where Prateek was Senior Director and Director of Software Engineering, managing media streaming experiences on the PS platform. At Sony New Media Solutions, Prateek functioned as Vice President of Advanced Engineering and Product Development, focusing on rich media native experiences and streaming applications. Previous roles also include Director of Advanced Java and Application Development at Sony Pictures Entertainment, Software Engineer at Deluxe Digital Studios, and Research Programmer at the University of Southern California. Prateek holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a B.Tech in Computer Science from Jaypee University of Information Technology.
