YAN XU currently serves as the Director of Engineering for Machine Learning at Rokt, where responsibilities include applying machine learning techniques for advertiser growth since June 2022. Prior to this role, YAN held positions as a Software Engineer in Machine Learning at Facebook from June 2020 to June 2022, and as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Rokt from June 2017 to June 2020, focusing on machine learning applications in social networks and advertisements, respectively. YAN also contributed as a Research Scientist at Amazon Web Services, specializing in networking automation and capacity modeling from April 2016 to June 2017, and as a Research Engineer and Research Assistant during the PhD program, with work concentrated on transportation modeling. YAN XU holds a PhD in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology.
