Loy Larvin Rao is a highly skilled Staff Engineer at Rokt, with a strong background in designing and developing scalable micro-services utilizing Go, Java, Python, and Docker on the AWS platform since September 2017. Previous roles include a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Rokt, where Loy contributed to the architecture of the Rokt Data Network event streaming platform. Loy's experience also includes a Data61 Summer Student position at CSIRO, where participation in a project focused on approximating surface roughness from 3D insect data took place, and a role as a Team Member in the RMIT Fastrack Innovation Program addressing service delivery challenges in community legal centres. Early career experiences include positions as an IT Support Technician at Planet Finance and an intern at Macrologic Innovative Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where Loy led the development of a Linux-based desktop application and contributed to a telecom service center project. Loy holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology.
