Caroline Burns is an experienced procurement professional with a robust background in managing and developing procurement strategies across the construction industry. Currently serving as the National Procurement Leader and Business Analyst at Rok since April 2009, Caroline oversees business management reporting for the National Procurement Team and the Purchase Card Programme. Prior positions include National Procurement Leader at Rok Building Ltd, where strategic procurement initiatives were implemented, and roles as Sub-Contract Buyer at both Gleeson Construction Services Ltd and Carillion, focusing on large construction projects. Caroline began the career as a Quantity Surveyor at Carillion, managing sub-contract procurement. Educational qualifications include an MCIPS from Croydon College and a BSC (Hons) in Commercial Management & Quantity Surveying from Loughborough University.
