Nate Sylvester, GISP, serves as the Director of Operations at ROK Technologies, LLC, since April 2021, focusing on enhancing customer service and reducing operational friction. Previously, at TRC Companies, Inc., from December 2005 to April 2021, Nate held multiple roles including Director of GIS, where solutions for sectors such as Energy and Environmental were developed through GIS technology. Additional positions included National GIS Coordinator and GIS Team Leader, overseeing GIS staff and management of software licensing. Earlier experience as GIS Manager at Kennebec County Soil and Water Conservation District involved managing GIS mapping initiatives and staff training. Nate holds a Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Penn State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Maine.
