Peter Dandár has extensive work experience in the retail industry. Peter began their career in 1997 as a Buyer at MAKRO Cash & Carry CR, where they were responsible for the D. I. Y. department. In 2005, they moved to bauMax ČR, s.r.o. as a Senior Buyer in the Garden department. Peter was responsible for managing and developing the team of buyers and assistants, as well as setting strategies and reviewing performance indicators. In 2007, Peter moved to OBI Česká republika, s.r.o. as a Senior Buyer in the Technik and Garden department. Peter was responsible for the same duties as their previous role, as well as coordinating purchase and operational processes. In 2013, Peter joined Globus ČR, k.s. as the Head of Category Managers in the Baumarkt department. Peter was responsible for leading a team of 27 colleagues and managing the Assortment range. In 2017, Peter moved to Tesco as a Team Lead Buying Manager. Finally, in 2018, Peter joined Rohlik.cz as a Category Manager Bakery and Frozen products.

Peter Dandár received their education in Všeobecná ekonomie from ČAO Dr. E. Beneše between 1990 and 1994.
