Johannes Schirrmeister is an experienced Senior Software Engineer with a diverse background in developing impactful software solutions. Currently employed at Roger since May 2022, Johannes focuses on automating medical practices. Prior experience includes a role at Doctolib GmbH, where Johannes contributed to the billing engine for the practice management system tailored for the German market using Ruby on Rails and React. At DAMPSOFT GmbH, Johannes was instrumental as the first engineering hire at Beneto Software GmbH, building the backend from scratch, which led to the company's acquisition by Dampsoft. As Founder of WeMingo, Johannes developed an online self-help program for shy bladder syndrome, successfully securing public funding and creating a custom course platform. Additional experience includes roles at Prezi as a Full Stack Developer and Technical Lead, where Johannes enhanced marketing infrastructure, and SAP, where Johannes interned as a Software Engineer. Johannes holds a Bachelor of Science in IT-Systems Engineering from the Hasso Plattner Institute and spent time studying at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
