Julia Scheel has extensive experience in product stewardship and toxicology. Julia worked as the Vice President of Product Stewardship at Röhm, where they were responsible for regulatory affairs, product management, hazard and risk management, and chemicals management. Prior to Röhm, Julia served as the Vice President of Product Stewardship at Evonik Industries, where they had similar responsibilities. Julia also worked at Beiersdorf, where they were the Head of Product Safety, and at Henkel AG & Co.KGaA as a Consultant/Manager in Human Safety Assessment. Julia has a background in scientific research and development, having worked as a Scientist/Project Manager at Axaron Bioscience AG. Additionally, they have experience as a Lecturer in Toxicology at the University of Düsseldorf.
Julia Scheel received their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Chemistry/Toxicology from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau from 1990 to 2000. Julia obtained a certification as a Certified Toxicologist from DGPT/EUROTOX in 2005. From 2007 to 2012, they pursued their studies in Toxicology at the University of Düsseldorf, where they worked as a Lecturer/PD, similar to an Assistant Professor in 2011.
