Marijke Peys has extensive experience in international humanitarian law and family tracing services, currently serving as the Head of Restoring Family Links at Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen since August 2014. In addition to this role, Marijke has held positions as an international humanitarian law dissemination officer and a tracing service staff member within the same organization. Marijke also contributed to academia as a Teaching Assistant for International Law at KU Leuven from September 2016 to August 2017 and briefly worked as an independent staff member at IPV-law in 2014. Marijke holds a Master's degree in Law from KU Leuven and a Master's degree in Human Rights from Université Saint-Louis - Bruxelles.
