Michelle Cloud is an experienced legal professional and advocate specializing in gun safety and children's welfare. Currently serving as the Assistant General Counsel and Reporting Manager at Everytown for Gun Safety since September 2018, Michelle has held multiple leadership roles including Compliance and Reporting Manager and Organizing Manager. At For Our Future, Michelle works as the Lead Organizer since March 2018, while simultaneously leading state and local campaigns for Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America since October 2016. Michelle’s advocacy involves engaging with legislative officials, organizing community efforts, and supporting gun violence prevention initiatives. Additionally, Michelle serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Foster Children at KIDS MATTER INC. Michelle's legal career began at Quarles & Brady LLP from 1999 to 2004, where responsibilities included negotiating contracts and providing pro bono legal assistance. Michelle holds a JD from Harvard Law School and advanced degrees in English Language and Literature.
