Dave Parker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in systems maintenance and business innovation within the rail industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Systems Maintenance at Capital Regional District since May 2017, Dave has also held multiple senior roles at Rocky Mountaineer since 2010, including Senior Manager of Business Innovation, where responsibilities involved collaborating with the Director of Rail Operations on business processes and strategic client relationships. Previous positions include Senior Maintenance Manager, overseeing the safety and reliability of passenger rail equipment across multiple locations, and Senior Manager of Railway Operations, managing partnerships with key railway and government agencies while leading maintenance and capital projects. Dave possesses an educational background that includes a Certificate of Management Excellence and completion of an Accelerated Team Leadership Program from UBC Sauder School of Business, along with a Red Seal Electrician certification from Camosun College.
