Brandi Adakai has a diverse work experience history. Brandi started in 2007 as an Assistant Manager at Dairy Queen, where they worked until 2009. In 2011, they joined YMCA of Pueblo as Event Staff/Community Outreach, and stayed until 2012. In 2014, they joined Rocky Mountain SER as a Teaching Assistant and worked until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Director Qualified Teacher at Rocky Mountain SER. Since 2019 till now, Brandi has been the Empowerment Center Director at Rocky Mountain SER. In 2015, they also started their own small business named Arrow/Indian Jewelry, which specializes in selling handcrafted Navajo jewelry and arts & crafts.
Brandi Adakai attended Pueblo Community College from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained an Associate's of General Studies degree with a focus on Business Management. Brandi then went on to Colorado State University Pueblo from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General. During their time at Colorado State University Pueblo, they additionally attended Pueblo Community College from 2016 to 2018, obtaining an associate of applied science degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching.
