Gabrielle West has a diverse work experience in various roles within the communications and media field. Gabrielle began their career as a Freelance Contributor for Denverite in 2017. Gabrielle then went on to work as a Freelance Writer and Content Producer for the City and County of Denver. In 2018, they joined the Office of Mayor Michael B. Hancock as the Digital Media Director. Gabrielle later became the Deputy Communications Director, focusing on Digital Media, Equity, and Engagement. After leaving the Mayor's office in 2023, they joined Rocky Mountain PBS as the Communications Director. Throughout their career, Gabrielle has also worked as a Freelance Writer, Video Producer, and Photographer for Coloradopolitics.com, and held roles as a Freelance Casting Producer for High Noon Entertainment. Gabrielle has also been involved with the Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado as an Alumni and has worked as a Freelance Producer and Host for Colorado Public Television - CPT12. Gabrielle's experience showcases their skills in communication, media production, and community engagement.
From 2006 to 2010, Gabrielle West attended Metropolitan State University of Denver, where they obtained a degree in Speech Communications with a focus on Broadcast Journalism.
