Alexander Fast is a highly experienced optical systems engineer with a robust background in research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer and Optics Lead at Rockley Photonics Inc. since May 2021, Alexander previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer at InfraDerm, where significant funding was secured for technology optimization. Prior roles include T32 Postdoctoral Fellow at Beckman Laser Institute, designing a clinical microscope platform, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, where advanced imaging tools were developed. Alexander's academic credentials include a PhD in Physical Chemistry from UC Irvine and a Master's degree from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
