Rashmi Sharma is a Senior Scientist at Rockland Immunochemicals, Inc. since March 2019, focusing on the development and validation of Host Cell Protein ELISA kits. Prior to this role, Rashmi served as a Research Associate Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher II at the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research from April 2011 to March 2019, where the primary project involved generating native human monoclonal antibodies against Galectin from pancreatic cancer patients post-vaccination with GVAX. Earlier, Rashmi was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania between September 2009 and April 2011, working on the role of Complement C5L2 in tumor growth using an ovarian cancer model. Rashmi holds a PhD in Microbiology from Jiwaji University (1998-2002) and completed postdoctoral training in science at the University of Pennsylvania (2009-2011).
