Antonia Armada, RN, MSN, CPHQ, CPPS, currently serves as the Executive Director of Quality & Patient Safety at University Hospital since July 2023. In addition to this role, Antonia has been a Nursing Adjunct Faculty member at Rockland Community College since October 1992. Previous experience includes serving as the Director of Quality at Norwalk Hospital - Nuvance Health from August 2019 to September 2023, and as the Chief Quality Officer and Director of Quality and Patient Safety at Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center from July 2012 to March 2019. Antonia's earlier positions include Patient Safety Officer and Director of Risk Management at St. Barnabas Hospital for over 25 years, in various nursing roles including nurse manager and staff nurse in the ICU. Antonia holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Healthcare Administration from The College of New Rochelle, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Santo Thomas, and a certification as a Legal Nurse Consultant from Mercy University.
