Annie Lee has diverse work experience in the fields of higher education and scientific research. Annie began their career in 2000 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Annie then worked as an Associate Scientist at Quintiles before joining Rockhurst University as the Clare Boothe Luce Professor of Chemistry. Annie later became the Associate Professor of Chemistry at Rockhurst University and went on to serve as the Director of Product Innovation at Likarda, LLC. Currently, they are working at Rockhurst University as the Professor and Director of the Pre-Health Program.

Annie Lee obtained a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from The University of Kansas during the years 1994 to 1999.
