Alex Hogg has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 with a placement at B3 Burges Architectual LTD. Here, they were responsible for designing a facility within a specific criteria and producing a set of hand drawings illustrating their design. In 2010, they obtained a trainee quantity surveyor work placement at Rapidgrid Groundwork and Civil engineering specialists, where they were responsible for planning and surveying forthcoming land sites, plotting and measuring sites, and aiding the company surveyors produce their tenders. In 2012, they began working for AJC Carpentry Southern Limited as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, and was promoted to the role of Quantity Surveyor within 18 months. Alex'sroles and responsibilities included tendering and producing a written and numeric quotation based on drawings and specifications provided. In 2015, they worked for DT Civils as a Quantity Surveyor, where their roles and responsibilities included tendering and producing a written and numeric quotation based on BoQ, drawings and specifications provided. In 2016, they worked for Balfour Beatty Construction Services UK as a Quantity Surveyor, where their roles and responsibilities included producing Subcontract Payments within Terms & Conditions of contract, producing and issuing Subcontract Variations, completing Subcontract Requisition’s for new orders on project, and agreeing Subcontract Interim/ Final Accounts. Finally, in 2016 they began working for Superior Flood & Fire Restoration Inc. as a Senior Estimator, where their roles and responsibilities included producing estimates for emergency flood and fire mitigation & restoration, general contracting, mould remediation and asbestos abatement, and managing a team of estimators within B. C and Alberta. In 2019, they began working for RocketPlan Technologies Inc. as Head of Operations.

Alex Hogg attended Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni from 2002 to 2009 and obtained a High School degree. Alex then attended the University of Reading from 2009 to 2012 and obtained a BSc Building Surveying degree in Building Surveying.
