Simon Moffatt is an accomplished aerospace engineer specializing in spacecraft propulsion systems. Since June 2016, Simon has held multiple leadership roles at Rocket Lab, currently serving as Manager of Spacecraft Fluids & Propulsion, overseeing a team dedicated to the end-to-end delivery of propulsion systems. Previous positions include Team Lead for In-Space Propulsion and Curie Development, where Simon led engineering teams on various projects and maintained existing propulsion system designs. Experience also includes serving as a propulsion engineer intern at Rocket Lab and mechanical engineering internships at Boeing and other aerospace companies. Simon co-founded the University of Victoria Rocketry team, achieving recognition at the IREC competition, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Distinction in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria.
