Nicola Zappacosta is a GNC Engineer at Rocket Factory Augsburg since September 2021, with prior experience as a Junior Research Fellow at Sapienza Università di Roma, where the focus was on Kalman filter solutions for satellite attitude estimation. Research included gyroscope misalignment estimation and the impact of thermal deformation. Nicola Zappacosta holds a Master's degree in Space and Astronautical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, both from Sapienza Università di Roma, completed between 2015 and 2021.
