Ivona Gasparovic is a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive experience in emergency medical services and patient care. Currently serving as a Primary Care Paramedic with BC Emergency Health Services since January 2018, Ivona responds to medical emergencies while adhering to evidence-based practices. Concurrently, Ivona provides medical coverage at various events through RockDoc Consulting Inc. and has a background in research related to substance use disorders conducted in the Vancouver City Jail. Previous roles include a Healthcare Security Officer with Paladin Security Group, where Ivona ensured safety in healthcare settings, and a progression through customer service roles at Panago Pizza, culminating as Call Center Supervisor. Ivona holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a diploma in Primary Care Paramedicine from the Justice Institute of British Columbia, among other educational achievements.
