Jean Pierre Camacho has extensive experience in the electrical and distribution sectors. Currently serving as Supervisor-Distribution System Operator at New York State Electric & Gas since August 2022, Camacho previously held the role of Distribution Operator at Rochester Gas & Electric starting in May 2018, where responsibilities included coordinating switching for distribution line outages and issuing related orders. Prior experience includes working as an Electrical Engineer at Quadlogic Controls Corp. from August 2016 to January 2018, contributing to electrical submetering projects and circuit design simulations. Camacho holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The City College of New York and an Associate's degree in the same field from LaGuardia Community College.
