James Root is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in semiconductor testing and product development. Currently serving as a Manufacturing Product Engineer at Allegro MicroSystems since April 2023, James has held significant roles in various esteemed companies, including Senior Semiconductor Test Engineer at Rochester Electronics and Senior Product Development Engineer at AMD. James's expertise encompasses test strategy development for GPUs, characterization of mixed-signal SoCs, and test generation for advanced ICs. James’ career began at Motorola, where responsibilities included digital test program development and CMOS ASIC characterization, ultimately leading to a degree in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
