Thia Denae, Ph.D., SPC, has extensive experience in software engineering and system design, currently serving as the Sub-Chapter Lead for the Pathology Lab at Roche since August 2015. In this role, Thia Denae has been instrumental in collaborating with global teams to enhance integrated software systems for Roche's IHC/ISH product lines, while defining the technical vision for the software engineering department. Previous roles at Roche included Senior Manager Software Engineering and Technical Team Lead, showcasing a progressive career in software development. Prior to Roche, Thia Denae worked as a Software Engineer at Clinisys, focusing on full-stack development for laboratory information systems. Thia Denae holds a Ph.D. in Information and Technology Management with a specialization in Data Science from Northcentral University, a Master of Science in Information Technology from Colorado Technical University, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Arizona, and an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Pima Community College.
