An Vandemeulebroucke is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in biochemistry and enzymology. Currently serving as Group Leader in the Biochemistry group at Roche, An has progressed from Senior Scientist to Senior Principal Scientist since joining in January 2017. Prior experience includes postdoctoral research at ETH Zurich, where An worked under Prof. D. Hilvert, and at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, advancing expertise in protein characterization and enzyme kinetics. An's academic foundation includes a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences and a Master's degree in Bio-engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel. An has consistently demonstrated leadership in mentoring, training students, and managing complex research projects throughout a career marked by collaboration and significant contributions to the field.
