Matthias Verstraete has worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Robovision since February 2019. Prior to that, they were an ip software engineer at Nokia from September 2016 to February 2019. Matthias also briefly worked as a Software Developer at xplore+ in August to September 2013.

Matthias Verstraete completed their Bachelor's degree in Informatics from Ghent University from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Sint-Jozef-Klein-Seminarie from 2005 to 2011, where they focused on Latin-Mathematics. Additionally, Matthias obtained various certifications, including an edX Verified Certificate for Mathematical Optimization for Engineers from edX in November 2022, Jetson AI Fundamentals from NVIDIA in October 2022, Getting Started with AI on Jetson Nano from NVIDIA in July 2022, and DL0120EN: Deep Learning with Tensorflow from IBM in December 2018.
