Tianchen Yu is a Senior Software Engineer currently working at Roblox since July 2022, focusing on creator content. Previously, from July 2017 to July 2023, Tianchen was a Senior Software Engineer at LinkedIn, specializing in an ad serving platform. Between March 2014 and July 2017, Tianchen worked at Yahoo as a Software Development Engineer, where significant contributions included designing and developing the Audience Insights platform, handling system design and data processing on Yahoo’s Hadoop cluster. Earlier experience includes a Software Engineer Intern position at Analytics Media Group, where Tianchen built a media buying optimizer using Java and deployed it on Hadoop, and an internship at Lindge Software, where Tianchen created an online chatting tool in C#. Tianchen Yu holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from George Mason University.
