Willy Chavez is a seasoned drilling professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently employed at Robinson Drilling of Texas since February 2019 as a drilling crew member, Willy has also been self-employed as a drilling consultant since September 2015, overseeing daily operations and managing drilling locations. Prior roles include serving as a tool pusher at Hilong Oil Service in Ecuador from November 2012 to August 2015, where Willy implemented HSE policies and adhered to drilling contracts. Additionally, from March 2006 to November 2012, Willy held the title of Supervisor Operations at Maersk Drilling Venezuela, leading health and safety initiatives and optimizing drilling operations. Willy holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Santiago Mariño and has a technical degree in Industrial Maintenance from Pedro Emilio Coll.
