Shivani Vyas is currently a Robertson Scholar at Duke University, participating in the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program since April 2022. In addition to ongoing academic pursuits, Vyas has gained practical experience as an Economic Analytics Intern with marketumbrella.org during the summer of 2023 and as a Development Intern at Junum. Previous roles include a Research Intern at Yale University under Dr. Lek, a Development Intern at Cure Rare Disease, and leadership positions with the American Red Cross of Georgia as Youth State Officer and Chair, and with Young Adult Rare Representatives as a Young Adult Advocate. Shivani Vyas is also the founder and host of The Rare Disorder Podcast. Vyas is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Finance at Duke University, expected to graduate in May 2026.
