Katya Nuques has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership roles. Katya is currently the Director of the Little Village Portfolio at the Robert R. McCormick Foundation. Prior to that, they worked at Enlace Chicago where they held multiple roles including Executive Director and Associate Director. Katya oversaw program design and implementation, managed an organizational budget of $4.5M, and developed strategic plans for the organization's growth. Before that, they served as the Executive Director of the Suzuki-Orff School of Music, where they supervised a team and collaborated on the development of the school's strategic plan. Katya also has experience at ADRA International as a Development Coordinator and at the UN as an intern at the Division for Sustainable Development. Overall, Katya has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a focus on achieving organizational objectives.
Katya Nuques holds a Master of Science in Administration (MSA) degree with a focus on Community and International Development from Andrews University, which they obtained between 1999 and 2001. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Universidad de Guayaquil, where they obtained a degree in Economic Science (Economista) between 1990 and 1995. In addition to their formal education, they have recently obtained a certification from Harvard Business School Executive Education.
