Martina Fischer currently serves as the Deputy Head of the Department of Research Data Management at the Robert Koch Institute, a position held since March 2020, where responsibilities include executive leadership of the DIVI-Intensivregister for pandemic management. Prior to this role, Fischer was a Research Project Manager at Ada Health and held various positions at the Robert Koch Institute, including Science-Innovation Manager and PhD Student, with a focus on high-throughput proteomics and metagenomics. Experience also includes a data scientist role at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center and a research internship in systems biology. Fischer's academic background includes a German Diplom in Biomathematics from Universität Greifswald and a diploma thesis completed at the Friedrich-Loeffler-Institute.
