Paulo Silva is the current Director at Robert Bird Group. Paulo has held this position since February of 2017. Prior to that, they were a Managing Partner at 24/7 Venues from August 2015 to February 2017. Before that, they were an Associate Structural Engineer at Buro Happold from February 2006 to August 2012.

Paulo Silva started their engineering career at Adams Kara Taylor (AKT) Consulting Engineers in London from June 2002 to June 2005 as a Senior Engineer. Paulo then moved to Whitby & Bird Consulting Engineers as a Senior Engineer from June 2005 to February 2006. After that, they worked at Cameron Taylor Bedford Consulting Engineers as an Engineer from February 2001 to June 2002.

Before becoming a Senior Engineer, Paulo Silva worked freelance for various construction companies from July 1995 to January 2001.

Paulo Silva has a MSt in Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment from the University of Cambridge, a MEng in School of Civil Engineering from the University of Leeds, and a Génie Civil et Urbanisme from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon. Paulo also has certification from the Project Management Institute in Project Management Professional (PMP), the Institution of Structural Engineers in Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (MIStructE), and the Institution of Civil Engineers in Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).

Their manager is David Seel, Managing Director West (Europe, Middle East & USA). They work with Jarrad Warhurst - Director, Construction Engineering, Giorgio Bianchi - Director, and Paul Worrall - Director, Infrastructure West.
