M. Tuna Kök, CFA, FRM has a diverse work experience in various financial and risk management roles. M. Tuna started their career as a Project Engineer at Ciner Group in 2009 and worked there until 2013. In 2014, they joined Ak Asset Management as a Portfolio Management Intern. Later that year, they joined Garanti Fund Administration Co. as a Risk Analyst, where they were responsible for risk management and performance monitoring of various types of funds. In 2015, they moved to İş Asset Management as a Risk Management Specialist and was later promoted to Risk Management VP. At İş Asset Management, they oversaw risk management activities, prepared reports and presentations for the Risk Management Committee, and supervised a team. In 2018, they became a Board Member at CFA Society Istanbul. In 2019, they joined Yapi Kredi Bank Nederland NV as an ALM/Market Risk Supervisor, where they conducted CRD IV compliant reporting, built models in the IRRBB framework, and was involved in software implementation. Currently, they are working at Robeco as a Financial Risk Manager for Investment Restrictions.
M. Tuna Kök, CFA, FRM received their education in a chronological manner. M. Tuna started their educational journey at TED Ankara Koleji, where they completed their high school education from 2002 to 2005. M. Tuna then went on to attend Bilkent University from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Afterward, they continued their studies at Bilkent University, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance from 2010 to 2013.
In addition to their academic achievements, M. Tuna Kök has obtained several certifications. M. Tuna obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter from the CFA Institute in September 2015. In January 2016, they acquired the SPK Düzey 3 Lisansı and SPK Türev Lisansı from the Capital Markets Board of Turkey. Lastly, in July 2018, they obtained the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the GARP FRM Program.
