Jan Willem Knoll, CFA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance industry. Jan Willem started their career at APG Asset Management in 1999, where they held various roles such as Analyst External Managers Global Equities, Portfolio Manager Pacific and Emerging Markets, Portfolio Manager Global Financials, and Senior Portfolio Manager Global Insurance. During this time, they were responsible for fundamental stock selection, designing investment processes, and portfolio management. From 2005 to 2006, they served as a Senior Portfolio Manager for European financials at APG Asset Management. In 2007, they briefly held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager European financials before transitioning to become a Senior Portfolio Manager for European financials at APG Asset Management, where they managed the European financials satellite portfolio. In 2010, they moved to Inholland University of Applied Sciences where they worked as a Lecturer and startup advisor until 2013. Following this, they joined ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as the Senior Equity Analyst and Head of FIG equity research, where they managed the research product of Benelux financials, wrote and marketed research reports, and conducted in-depth quantitative modeling. In 2016, they started working at Robeco as a Financials at Robeco, thus continuing to utilize their financial expertise.
Jan Willem Knoll, CFA completed their education at the University of Groningen. From 1988 to 1998, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Economics at the University. Furthermore, they received training from the CFA Institute, where they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification. The completion dates for their CFA studies are not provided.
